Jeremiah 29:1,4-13. The prophet Jeremiah was directed and instructed by God to write a letter to those Jews carried away as slaves into exile in Babylon and to prosper in their new homeland. Jeremiah 18: 1-11. From the pictures I showed the children, making pottery can becomes a messy project. Your hands become covered in a wet clay as you work the clay all the while spinning the wheel. What an interesting and telling picture of God becoming the Master Potter in the lives of His people! God doesn’t regret and hold back in getting “his hands” dirty.
