Jeremiah 18: 1-11. From the pictures I showed the children, making pottery can becomes a messy project. Your hands become covered in a wet clay as you work the clay all the while spinning the wheel. What an interesting and telling picture of God becoming the Master Potter in the lives of His people! God doesn’t regret and hold back in getting “his hands” dirty. Exodus 3: 1-15. All of us were given names by our parents often with a specific meaning attached to it which could be circumstantial or specific. Names historically pointed to the present, or to a future hope, sometimes they were a prayer for blessings, other times to a family’s history and lineage to carry on the name.
